"We had a weekend at a cottage near the Sloop in so ate there a couple of times of that weekend.
The first time we sampled the chilli, it was lovely. The accompanying rice was also very good.
The second time I had the lamb shank with mash and veg.. Absolutely beautiful! The others had steak and that was lovely too, cooked very well and great portions.
Would highly recommend the food here. "

"We stayed here 7/2/2014 we had a small double was good for one night the staff are great the food is wonderful even if you do not stay here just drop in for a meal best steak I have had in a long time "

"We ate here once before and decided then to re-visit. We are glad that we did as our stay was quite a pleasant one. The four poster bed was really comfortable the evening meal was very tasty and the portions generous as was the very hearty breakfast. The owner is quite friendly and the service was good. We are planning to visit again. "
