"This is a big Thank You for looking after our party of 25 so well on Saturday 23 December. The room was ideal, service excellent and warm welcome very much appreciated. The children were free to roam and the food and drink put all of in exactly the right frame of mind to enjoy Clearwell Caves later that day. A very Happy Christmas and prosperous New Year to 'The Family Sloop'. "

"We had a weekend at a cottage near the Sloop in so ate there a couple of times of that weekend.
The first time we sampled the chilli, it was lovely. The accompanying rice was also very good.
The second time I had the lamb shank with mash and veg.. Absolutely beautiful! The others had steak and that was lovely too, cooked very well and great portions.
Would highly recommend the food here. "
