"We ate here once before and decided then to re-visit. We are glad that we did as our stay was quite a pleasant one. The four poster bed was really comfortable the evening meal was very tasty and the portions generous as was the very hearty breakfast. The owner is quite friendly and the service was good. We are planning to visit again. "

"This is a big Thank You for looking after our party of 25 so well on Saturday 23 December. The room was ideal, service excellent and warm welcome very much appreciated. The children were free to roam and the food and drink put all of in exactly the right frame of mind to enjoy Clearwell Caves later that day. "We went for an end of holiday meal. We were made very welcome, friendly service and very good food - BIG portions, freshly made, delicious. We managed to force a dessert down too...just! The staff were very helpful, attentive and answered questions on allergies very well. Overall highly recommended. "
